Davidscloud Community Update - February 4th, 2025
We’ve got some big updates to share, including the launch of an exciting **Atlas** server, server upgrades, and upcoming events!
Atlas Server Launch - February 7th, 1 PM EST
Set sail, captains! We’re launching an **Atlas 6x6 PVE server** on **Friday, February 7th, at 1 PM EST**. Originally, David planned to host this for him and his wife, but decided to open it to the community for anyone else with a **piracy itch!** If you've been craving adventure on the high seas, get ready to set sail!
️ Server Upgrades & FiveM Migration
We have **massively upgraded our off-site machine**, improving performance and reliability. With this, we will soon be **migrating FiveM and our SQL server**. Stay tuned for more updates as we finalize the migration plan.
️ Game Updates & Community Expansion
- **Minecraft** is running flawlessly, with no major issues! We’re also looking for **new modpacks** to host, so feel free to suggest any you’d love to see added.
- **Ark** is still going strong, and we are keeping a close eye on its ongoing development.
- **We are looking for more admins!** If you’re interested in helping run our servers, managing events, or moderating, please reach out!
Conan Exiles Support Terminated
After much consideration, we have officially **ended support for Conan Exiles**. Several factors led to this decision, including:
- A **dwindling player base** and lack of active engagement.
- **Issues with the publisher** that have made server management difficult.
- **In-game mechanics** that don’t align with our community’s needs.
- **Lack of admin configuration options**, especially regarding in-game shops and balancing.
We appreciate those who played Conan with us and hope to bring even better experiences to the community in the future.
Upcoming Events - Saturday, February 15th
Join us for a **community hangout and meeting** on **Saturday, February 15th**:
- **4 PM EST** - Hangout session in Discord. Come chat, play, and enjoy time with the community!
- **5 PM EST** - Community Meeting where we’ll discuss server updates, upcoming plans, and hear your feedback.
